No BlackBerry 10 for Japan


Japan is one of the most important markets for smartphones, especially for the penetration of solutions with high technological content. It is also a complicated market, in which the features and details that decree the success of a terminal are in some cases very different from those of the rest of the world.

In the case of smartphones that landed in the land of the rising sun from overseas a forced path is that of adaptation to the language of the operating system and the Japanese writing system. A path that requires support costs, costs that BlackBerry has decided not to be justified in the case of OS Mobile recently launched by the size of the market for the solutions of the Canadian producer on the Japanese market. BlackBerry 10, at least for the moment, then will arrive in Japan and the Canadian company focus attention and resources in the rest of the world.
